Privacy policy
Last updated: June 2026
Otichi Innovations Ltd. ("Otichi", "we", "us") is a London-based product studio. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit otichi.co.uk or interact with us, and how we use it under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email, phone number (optional), and message when you use our contact form. We may also receive standard, anonymous usage data (pages visited, device type, browser) when you accept analytics cookies.
We process your data to respond to enquiries (contract or legitimate interests), improve the site (legitimate interests), and load analytics (consent only). We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
We use Resend to deliver contact emails on our behalf. We keep contact data only as long as needed to respond, maintain our relationship, or meet legal obligations — typically no longer than 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Essential: we store your cookie consent choice in your browser (local storage) so the banner does not reappear. Optional analytics cookies are only loaded if you accept — we do not load non-essential tracking before consent. You can withdraw consent by clearing site data or declining when prompted.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability where applicable. Email hello@otichi.co.uk — we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have handled your data unlawfully.
Some service providers we use (such as email delivery) may process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
